Scotty Rae Hettinger is a resilient individual from Missouri, where he has embraced life as a dedicated husband, father of three, and grandfather of five. After losing his father at 15, Scotty faced overwhelming challenges, including a devastating car accident at 19 that left him paralyzed. Undeterred, he pursued a career in education, teaching high school for 15 years and retiring in 2011. In 2017, he founded Charlie 22 Outdoors, an organization helping US veterans navigate their own adversities and rediscover God's grace.
