How do people find podcasts to listen to?
That was the first question I had too. I had heard of podcasts but that was as in-depth as I initially got. I googled "podcasts". That's where I started. You can too. It's not broadcasted via a radio station like most other audio shows, and it isn't necessarily on file in the library either. It's a Personal on-demand broadcast, because it's played via a website. You can get it whenever you want. Sure you need Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts (to name a few), but you could also opt for the respective podcast's website like TransactingValuePodcast.com and listen to the episodes there too. But there are plenty of options. Some have captions or transcriptions; others have video-also options; and more still are just audio. All have value and play to the strengths of the show's production team or host. Remember, word of mouth doesn't mean in person. Everytime you hear a podcast host talk about another podcast; you hear a promotional ad on one of your favorite podcasts; or listen to your favorite guests get interviewed or talk shop; it's all just as viable to go check out that other show. For example, this month on #TransactingValuePodcast, our Contributor was the host of the podcast #RealWellness, Sheri Traxler! Sure we talked about health and whole body wellness, Sheri's personal values and how they have influenced her brand; but we also talked about what contributed to her overall perspective too.
However you find your podcasts, survival takes communication. Welcome to the team!
